Several Bucks players are participating at the British Chess Championships at Warwick University. They include Andy Smith and Roger de Coverly (both Bourne End) in the Over-65 also Phil Bonafont (ex-Gerrards Cross) and Gerald Moore (formerly of Chesham & Amersham).

Tim Wheeler (Gerrards Cross) together with Stephen Dishman (ex-Wycombe & Hazlemere), Neil Bradbury (ex-Slough), and Natasha Regan (ex-Gerrards Cross) are competing in the Over-50.
