The consultation period for changes to the fixture list has now
passed, and you have been mostly silent - minor amendments being
made to stop Aylesbury playing on a Sunday (moved to the nearest
Tuesday)  and GX hosting Slough twice in the season. I therefore
attach the master copy of the fixtures for the forthcoming season.
[It is in two files one for each division]

I am not introducing any changes to the competition rules this year
so the number of upfloats remains that set out in the competition
rules, and the special dispensation given by my predecessor will
not apply this year. In addition unless further restructuring arises
at the end of the season I expect relegation and promotion to apply.
The other changes to the default time and the non adoption of FIDE
rules on mobile phones can be found in the minutes of the AGM so
I'll not repeat them here.

I look forward to receiving details of the playing squads from each
club before the start of your fixtures

David Turner and I are effectively doing a job previously done by
1 person. In order that scope for confusion is minimised  I would
be grateful if all results are sent to me in the first instance so
that I can validate the results before sending them to David. This
is preferable to having to amend a result which is already on the
website.

A short note listing match captains contact details will be issued
shortly - probably after the W&Hz AGM.  If any clubs have changed
these officers and not told me please could they do so.

Look forward to seeing you over the course of the season and perhaps
winning the odd game. ( strange and possibly singular?!)
