Wycombe & Hazlemere Juniors

The Wycombe & Hazlemere Juniors meet on a Friday night at Rossetti Hall. Please contact Brian Lacey if you're interested in enrolling your child.

There is an early session for beginners and a later session for experienced players. Parents that wish to become proficient at chess (to hopefully keep ahead of their child for a short time... or even to eventually join the Wycombe & Hazlemere adult club!) are invited to attend with their child free of charge.

In the later session we cover all aspects of chess, including standard openings, middle games, end games, tactics, strategies, recording and the use of clocks. There is usually time for at least one game in the evening too -- after all, that's what everyone's there for!
